{ Baseball Season! }

This year we decided that Samuel was going to play baseball. It was a very rainy season, and some practices and games had to be cancelled. Their team name was "Thunderstruck," which was very fitting this season! For awhile Samuel was rather ambivalent about it, but towards the end, he began to quite enjoy it, and began to play better! His team lost most of their games, but it was a great learning experience! I wish now, that he would have started a couple of years ago. This was the last year of Coach pitch, so i think next year will be Little League. It was fun going to the games, and hanging out at the playground with the girls! It was good for family time too!

{ Mothers Day 2019!}

This Mothers Day, Little Grandma and Jess got to be with us! We went to church, and then in the evening, I attended KMBC's Senior Testimony service, and the rest of the family went hiking up in the mines! It is a privilege to be my kids' Mama! At church we received some pretty flowers, and Eric and his Grandma also got me a boquet of pretty flowers, and i received Moothers Day cards and money too!

{ Early Spring Pictures}

In the early spring, we went fishing t a pond close by, with one of our friends, Andrea Mathis. She took the fishing pictures! Naomi caught the most fish! She really enjoys fishing. Eric and I attended Mount Carmel's Jr/Sr. Banquet, and it was very nice! My friend Monica was so sweet to do my hair for it.

Naomi brought me these pretty wildflowers one day! I've read that children give you flowers because they don't have much else to give you, so they should always be received most gratefully!!

{ Easter 2019}

I think that, because I was still in my first trimester of pregnancy, we didn't do quite as much for Easter this year. We took part in the college's Seder meal, which is always a great experience! The kids have been attending since they were born. We never did get around to doing our family communion though, even though I actually made the unleavened bread for it! We had a nice meal though! Sunday, we went to our church's Easter Service, and then had an Easter egg hunt in our yard in the afternoon.

 We read this book called " Benjamin's Box" during Holy Week. I highly reccommend it!
