{ What I Love - Wednesday }

Today I read the latest post of a blog I love to read, Simple Thoughts. It was about the graduation party she gave her daughter. The theme had lots of Lilly Pulitzer kind of things. So it inspired me to go to Lilly Pulitzer's  site and look at all of their lovely things. Let me tell you, I am in LOVE with them! I love all of their beautiful summery things! Here are a few of the things I love!

{ Things I Love Wednesday }

I am really loving springtime! It is warm and balmy ( soon to be swimming weather, Yay!!) ...the windows are open...flowers everywhere... I can wear sandals...yeah, I love Spring! Here are some pictues of things I am loving!

 Peonies are one of my favorite flowers, and they are in bloom right
now!

A delightful fruit bowl of bananas, fresh mandarin oranges, strawberries, blueberries,
with Agave nectar and cinnamon for the bananas. Be sure to get all four fruits on your fork at the same time. Its a delectable mouthful!

{ Things I Love - Wednesday }

This weeks "Things I Love," will be in honor of "Cinco De Mayo," the great Mexican celebration. I used to live in Mexico for most of my teen years. We were missionaries over there. I LOVED it! It has so much beautiful culture, friendly people, scrumptious food, and great architecture! I actually really miss it. So I have gathered up some images that reflect my love of that country! Enjoy!

This reminds me so much of the area where I lived in Mexico

These were tamales my sister and I made for Christmas this past year.
The little clay pot has something my mom made in it.

Some of our dearest friends when we lived in Mexico

This is a picture of a Hacienda in Mexico. I have stayed at a couple of beautiful haciendas
in Mexico that are hotels. It was like stepping back in time. It was so Romantic and sparks lovely imagination! I would love to own one one day!

Happy Cinco De Mayo!

Cupcakes!

Here is a picture of the Cupcakes I made for the Easter egg hunt at our church. They were fun to make. My husband helped me makes the icing. He is so sweet! I really like icing cupcakes and putting the pretty sprinkles on them! They turned out REALLY yummy!
