{ Getting Fit and Healthy }

Well, I guess I actually gained about 4 pounds in April. I guess I splurged too much! Today is the start of a new adventure though. Me and some other ladies have gotten together and are doing a weight loss contest. We each put in $20, and at the end of 13 weeks, on July 30th, whoever has lost the most percentage gets the winning purse. If anyone gains from weigh-in to weigh-in, they have to pay too. I think it will be great motivation and I hope to get down to my goal weight by then. I'm pretty excited! Let the adventure begin!

{ Mothering Monday - Spring Pictures }

This Sring was and is so beautiful! Most of the trees have already bloomed now, and have their leaves. I so love hearing the birds singing outside! Here are some pictures of Samuel, Naomi, and I. Samuel has been doing the cutest thing lately. He brings me a flower and says, "You Pretty Mommy, don't eat it, put it in your hair!" I just love it! That's what he is doing in this picture.

{Getting Fit and Healthy - March Update }



So, didn't really make any progress the rest of the month of March. Still at the same weight as my last update. I have been working out though, so that is good. I exercised three times last week. I think I need to put the rest of my Easter jelly beans somewhere out of my sight. I did go to Whole Foods (we live WAY far from there, so don't go much) on Friday, and got a few things such as some Apple Cider Vinegar with the Mother, nutritional yeast, a little quinoa, a little Chia, Celtic salt, and Coconut Oil. Excited about that. I have a healthy drink I want to try this week, and if I like it, I will share it with you next week.

 Height : 5'8
Goal weight: 135 lb. by sometime this summer
